Her husband was shot at work by a disgruntled employee. Overnight, she was left running a business and solo parenting three teenage daughters while grieving. She not only survived this traumatic experience but thrived.

Meet Jody LaVoie, CEO, Founder of Widows In The Workplace, certified coach, speaker, and widow.

“I spent time thinking, what is it that I value? And who is it that I want to be in service to?” – Jody Lavoie

Determined to not fail her family, friends, business, and employees, she drew strength from her daughters. They inspired her to be a strong and courageous role model moving forward one step at a time. Then, after growing and selling her business, she pivoted to a new role. She helps widows in the workplace by using her own experience.
