A Story of Courage, Determination, and the Power of Love!
Join us for an extraordinary Women’s Forum program as we welcome Cathy Wheatley, one of the women featured in the Netflix documentaryTwo Mothers.
Cathy will share her deeply personal and powerful true story of perseverance, courage, and the unbreakable bond between two women whose lives became forever intertwined through love and circumstance.
When Cathy’s journey to motherhood was met with heartbreak, she chose hope and placed her trust in Ivanna, a Ukrainian woman who would carry her child. What began as a surrogacy arrangement between two strangers evolved into a profound sisterhood tested by distance, uncertainty, and ultimately, war.
Through Cathy’s inspiring story, we’ll understand how:
- Perseverance sustains us when the path forward is unclear
- Courage leads us to act boldly in the face of fear, and
- Love, in its truest, most selfless form, can overcome borders, barriers, and even war.
This conversation challenges us to see perseverance not as endurance alone, but as love in motion. It is evidence of the strength and compassion that live within women who refuse to give up.
